The nominees for the fifth edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards have been announced!

On Wednesday, the 14th of December, 2016, the nominees for the fifth edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) were revealed.

"Good day my fellow DPA members.... Here is a cry for justice and i need all your supports and assistance in any way you guys can. 
My Name is Okorodudu Anthony Ejomafuvwe, I hail from ughelli north local government, Delta state.... 
Here is the complaint i have to report to the DPA.... 
I visited a friend in Ghana called TONY IGBIWU and i've stayed with him now for a month and 3 weeks, i went there for 3months vacation. My eldest brother stays here too but i decide to stay with him. When i entered Ghana, i located the nearest police station and made them aware of my presence in the country, i showed them my Identity Card as a uniform man that i am in my country Nigeria. And for the past 2weeks now, his wife has been acting funny and asked me to always give her space which i did. 
I was driving the wife along Spintex road in Ghana and she told me that she will black-mail me in the country and i laughed about it, and told her it won't happen and she replied saying "WE SHALL SEE" 
The husband has two houses in Ghana, 1 is at Spintex road and the other at Teshe Rasta Police Post. He has upto 8 boys under him. His Uncle is the Chief Judge in Asaba, Delta state. 
One of the boys in his other house at Spintex called Julius also had issues with the wife too, and i keep telling that boy to go and apologize to the wife because she and her husband are good people and he shouldn't do anything to offend them. And the boy yield to my advice, and tried making peace with the wife but she kept laying courses on the boy. When the same boy told me, i asked him to calm down and wait till the husband return from Nigeria so that all issues will be sorted out.
The husband returned but no issue was discussed. Just yesterday, the husband traveled to Nigeria and the wife went to her shop. Few hours later, the wife drove in and some other boys and they brought out that same Julius from the car, they've beaten him up and naked him, i came down stairs and asked what happened that warrant such beating on that boy, and before i could complete my statement they faced me and they started beating me up with all sort of things. Some of the things they used was Bottle, Shovel, Ply wood, Cable Wires, Broken Tiles. I begged for my life and God helped me out. All conversation i had with that boy is on whatsapp and my phone is with the wife even as we speak. I was able to remove some pieces of bottles from my head while i was bathing. The wife took a video coverage of all what happened yesterday and it has been more than 24hours now, but the Ghanian police hasn't done anything yet about the case reported to them. 
The name of the wife is Elo, she was the winner of Miss Delta, 2010. I've reported to the police but they know him too well, he do give them some tips and because of that, nothing has been done about the issue. 
His wife's mother stayed at the ending of Oba group in Udu road, ovwian delta state.
He always lodged at Best Western Hotel at Udu road, Mofor. 
Sir Justice must be made. The other boy that was also beaten has been locked in one of the rooms inside the house. I was able to get hold of my computer and send my Eldest Brother a message on facebook and he sent people to come rescue me out of the house.
Sir Justice must be made. I did not steal from him, nor do i have anything to do with his wife but he treated me this way. I have rescued him from lots of police case in Nigeria, and when i visited him, he decided to treat me this way. Sir justice must be made. I strongly need the intervention of the DPA. 
Mr Tony Igbiwu always say that when a man has money, he is never scared of problems and now he brought those same words to me. I won't let him go with this sir. If the Law cannot do anything, then nature will take its course. 
But first i need the intervention of the DPA.... Thank you and God bless you sir.
Some of the names of the boys that did this are; Timothy (His username on facebook is DB Paris Teenine), Silver, Rawlins, Samuel and Tabansii (His username on facebook is Chif Mena Tabansii) 
I will attach the man's photo and some of the boys that did this, i could not get the pictures of some of them."

As participants and investors continue to groan over the ‘crash’ of ponzischeme, otherwise known as MMM, a certain Chuddy Anayo Ugorji, popularly referred to as “The MMM-Nigeria number one Guider,” has allegedly raked over N5billion within a year from the embattled system.
 

According to a social media enthusiast, Somto Monanu, ‎“A visit to the MMM Nigeria testimonial page, you will agree with me that Oga chuddy has finish all una money.”

According to him, “Chuddy is the head Admin of MMM, he is the one who brought mmm into Nigeria, he is the one who runs things at MMM just the way Mark Zuckerberg runs Facebook.”

“People fail to realise that a Website cannot create itself, a human being has to see through its day to day activities and Chuddy is the one behind MMM and the same Chuddy is also a participant of this same MMM and this same Chuddy is also the number one Guider on this same MMM.

“Don’t you already see that there is already A Red flag… well below is screen shot of money he has been collecting and displaying publicly only God knows the one he took in Private.
“He even collected some money, a whopping N6M on the 8th of December chai Oga Chuddy will paint his village red this December”, Monanu wrote on Facebook.

Similarly, another Twitter user Amadi Noel via his Twitter handle, @KingNoelC alleged that Chuddy Anayo Ugorji has raked over N5billion, saying, he brought MMM into Nigeria in 2015 after striking a deal with some Phillipinos to create “MMM Nigeria”.

WOMAN NARRATES HOW SHE WAS ALMOST ROBBED BY AN OLD WOMAN IN LAGOS ISLAND MARKET

A woman named Elle narrates her experience at the Lagos Island market yesterday. According her, an old woman pretended to help her keep her money safe while she swapped the bag that had the money with another one full of newspapers. Read what she wrote below...

"God has yet proven himself to be my God AGAIN!!! Babes!! Guys!! This is Christmas season.. Shine your eyes!!! I arrived the market (Lagos island) At about 2:30pm this afternoon I got to Lagos Island. I needed to get some stuffs. On getting there.. An old woman kept following me.. She be like "my dear, keep your money very well. This is Lagos, thieves are everywhere " I was telling her thank you as per good mother.. She also said I should hold part of the money I was with so even if my bag was snatched I have something to fall back to.. That was how I foolishly brought out the money from my bag.. She picked up a nylon.. Trying to help me tie my money.. In the course of doing that.. She swapped the money.. She tied paper with nylon.. Gave me the nylon that had paper and took my money.. I kept saying "ese ma" thank you in Yoruba.. As that was what we were conversing with... In less than two seconds.. I'm not ashamed to say I was alerted by the Holy Spirit.. I turned back and was looking at her.. ( I never knew my money was missing) immediately she opened her pant and brought out my money .. Dumbfounded I was... I ran in shock to my friends shop.. When I got there, I opened the nylon she gave to me at first.. Only to see that it was newspapers.. My brothers n sisters.. Biko help me thank this God... And please y'll be watchful, anywhere you find yourself.. It's only God love that is real🙏

MAN CHARGED IN COURT FOR ALLEGEDLY DUPI NG AN IRISH BUSINESSWOMAN OF €53,000

EFCC arraigns man for allegedly duping an Irish businesswoman of €53,000
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tombrown alias Michael Freeman and his company, Yoshinaka Corporation, before Justice A. O. Faji of the Federal High Court, sitting in Asaba, Delta State on a 34-count charge bordering on obtaining by false presence.

Tombrown is alleged to have duped an Irish businesswoman, Izabela Glogowska. of over  through internet scam.
According to Glogowska, the petitioner, Tombrown posed as a prominent online trader, Michael Freeman, to hoodwink her to part with her money.

Count one of the charge reads: “That you, Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tonbrown alias Michael Freeman, Yoshinaka Corporation, on or about the 8th day of May, 2015, at Warri, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did represent yourself as one Michael Freeman a famous online trader and obtain the sum of Five thousand, Eight Hundred Euro’s (£5800) from Izabela Glogowska under the false pretence that you were going to pay the said sum into Izabela Glogowska’s Perfect Money account, a pretence you knew to be false, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the said Act.”


Another count reads: “That you, Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tombrown alias Michael Freeman, Yoshinaka Corporation, on or about the 11th day of May, 2015, at Asaba, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did represent yourself as one Michael Freeman a famous online trader and obtain the sum of Four thousand, Three Hundred Euro’s (£4300) from Izabela Glogowska under the false pretence that you were going to pay the said sum into Izabela Glogowska’s Perfect Money account, a pretence you knew to be false, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the said Act.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.
In view of his plea, the prosecuting counsel, S. Hussaini asked the court to fix a date for the commencement of trial and that the accused person be remanded in prison custody.
Counsel to the defendant, I. B. Azago made an oral application for bail which was refused by the court. He was asked to make a formal application for bail.

Justice Faji adjourned the case to January 23 and 24 2017 and ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody pending the determination of his bail.

WOMAN PLANNED WITH A MAN TO R*PE HER SEVEN-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

A mother has been dragged to court after she plotted with a paedophile, Stuart Bailey, to let him r*pe her seven-year-old daughter.

According to Metro UK, Stuart Bailey, 54, and the woman, who cannot be named, allegedly planned their s*x attack on the girl in text messages and phone calls.
A jury was told Bailey asked the girl’s mother to ‘tart up’ the schoolgirl with make-up before ‘having his way’ with her.

In several texts to the girl’s mother he allegedly said: ‘Let me do as I please.’ In another he said: ‘What is she wearing? Is she in school uniform?’
Prosecutor Jim Davis told how the woman’s partner suspected she was in contact with Bailey – and later discovered the text messages planning the ordeal with the young girl.
Mr Davis said the partner made a statement to police where he had suspicions that ‘she was cheating on me’ and checked her mobile phone.

Mr Davies said: ‘After confronting his partner about his suspicions, she reacted angrily and told him to leave the house.’
But the man told police how he refused to hand back her phone.
He said: ‘She was shouting at me to give her phone back and stopped me from leaving the house.
‘I had to physically push her out of the way to get out.’
The jury heard that he left the house with the woman’s phone – and checked the messages when he arrived in work.

Cardiff Crown Court heard how the couple were using the letter ‘R’ to symbolize the word ‘rape’.
Other texts read out in court read ‘Let’s abuse her’ and ‘I can R her.’
He described them as ‘horrific’, and that he couldn’t finish reading them as they were ‘too upsetting’.
Bailey, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, and the woman, who cannot be named, both deny with arranging and commissioning child s*x offences.
The trial at Cardiff Crown Court continues.
