Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary by releasing a very emotional/crazy in love video of their relationship. She shared the video with Tidal subscribers and fans on her IG page. The title of the music video is “Die With You,” which is naturally an ode to how much she loves Jay Z. Jay Z and Beyoncé got married on April 4th 2008.

 

Lawson designed Beyoncé's wedding gown—which, in hindsight, might not have been the best idea. "She was so sweet to let me do that," Lawson said on Today in June 2016. "She came back later one day and she said, 'You know, when my daughter gets married, I'm going to let her pick out her own dress.' Maybe she wasn't so excited about it at the time, but she's a sweetheart."

 

When the couple tied the knot nine years ago, they exchanged vows in front of 40 family members and friends who gathered at the groom's 13,500-sq.-ft. penthouse in New York City. Beyoncé, then 26, and Jay Z, then 38, kept their reception going until 5 a.m. the next morning.
That same year, Beyoncé explained why she and Jay Z prefer to keep the details of their private lives private. "We decide everything. My word is my word. What Jay and I have is real," the "Hold Up" singer told Essence. "It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real."

51-Year-Old Woman Brutalised By Police To Be Paid N20M For Damages (Photos)

A state High Court sitting in Ikere Ekiti on Monday awarded a sum of N20m damages against the Ekiti State Police Command for illegal detention and brutalization of a 51-year-old woman.

The presiding Judge, Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi, also awarded another N250,000 cost against the police to cover the medical expenses of the woman as a result of the unlawful detention and beating she suffered in detention.

The victim, Mrs. Sola Aregbesola, was mercilessly tortured and detained for 72 hours at Ilawe Police Station in October 2016 over an illicit love affair between her husband and another woman.

According to reports, Aregbesola had been arrested by the police, on the orders of her husband’s mistress who had earlier attack her with hot soup, inflicting serious bodily injuries and causing deformation on her.

The mother of five claimed that she lost the use of one of her eyes as a result of the brutality she suffered at the hands of the policemen.
