How 18-Year-Old Daughter Of A Ghanaian Politician Committed Suicide After She Failed In School


Adwoa Agyarkwa,18-year-old daughter of Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, an NPP Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem central constituency, has hanged herself. 
The first-year Chemical Engineering student, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), was found dead on Friday morning in her hostel room with a rope hanging around her neck.

Although, it is yet to be confirmed what must have led to the suicide, sources at KNUST campus say she failed one of her courses and couldn’t bear the shame.

Before committing the act, the deceased was said to have left a suicide note, saying: ‘am sorry to disappoint you mummy and daddy’.

Her body has been deposited at a mortuary in Kumasi, Ghana.

3-Year-Old Girl Being Maltreated By Her Parents Due To Witchcraft Allegations of

A 3-year-old girl battered by her biological parents in Nnewi, Anambra state. The parents of the girl  think she is a witch and reportedly beat her almost every day. Not only is the little girl malnourished and pale from starvation, but she also lives in so much fear of her parents.
 
The girl named Sarah has now been rescued by the Police. According to Sam Itauma, the Anambra State Police Commissioner, Mr. Sam Okaula, has confirmed the rescue of the girl and the arrest of her parents. 
 
The girl is now hospitalized and undergoing intense medical treatment. Okaula revealed that she has mental challenges and this could be one of the reasons the parents subjected her to such horrible treatment. Investigations are currently ongoing on the aspect of abuse on the child.

Popular singer, Patoranking has been able to wins many listeners heart with the style of music he does. From Nigeria to large no of other countries, the singer is in high demand for his infectious reggae tunes.

However, many will be surprised to know his reason for doing reggae in the first place. In a chat with Sunday Scoop, he said,


“One of the reasons I chose reggae even though it might sound funny is because of the girls. I remember back then in secondary school, if you did not know how to mime songs, you could not get the girls and I like standing out. I thought it would be wise for me to mime the songs that my colleagues won’t know. I listened to more reggae songs. Whenever I did that, the girls were always impressed. I listened to a lot of Bob Marley and Lucky Dube’s songs.”
