Barack Obama Waves Farewell

Barack Obama gave one last wave goodbye with his wife as he boarded his helicopter after Donald Trump's inauguration.

It was an emotional moment for sure.
TMZ broke the story, Michelle and Barack are headed to Palm Springs for 2 weeks R&R before they'll return to their new digs in D.C. so daughter Sasha can finish up school.

Obama And Michelle Leaves the White House In Classic Style

Although outgoing First Lady Michelle Obama has proven to be an arbiter of style over the course of her eight years in office, it couldn’t have been easy to decide what to wear during her final hours in the White House today. But as she and her husband, President Barack Obama, emerged in Washington, D.C., to greet the incoming First Family hours before the inauguration this morning, it was clear she had found the perfect look. Subdued and relaxed, Obama descended the stairs in a classic burgundy A-line tea-length dress that felt reminiscent of First Lady fashions of yesteryear. Forgoing any accessories and pulling her newly cut bob back into a slick bun, she was no doubt going for a more subtle approach to say goodbye.
Obama quietly accessorized with a minimalist waist-cinching belt and a pair of classic pumps, which were appropriate for the occasion. Sharing a small kiss with her husband, the 44th First Lady turned over her position with grace and poise. It was a bittersweet moment, but as always, she rose to the occasion in true fashion.

Inauguration Day: Donald Trump Sworn In As 45th President of The United States

Donald Trump has pledged to put America first and vowed a "great national effort" to be rebuild the country after being sworn in as its 45th President.
The 70-year-old billionaire took the oath of office on the west steps of the US Capitol in Washington and brought the curtain down on the presidency of Barack Obama.
In his inaugural address, Mr Trump promised to transfer power from Washington to the people, and pledged a "great national effort" to rebuild the country.

Mr Trump said January 20 would be remembered as "the day the people became the rulers of this nation again".
"The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer," the new President said.
Mr Trump added: "From this day forward it's going to be only America first.

"We must protect our border from the ravages of other countries. I will fight for you with every breath of my body and I will never let you down."
Continuing the populist tone of his victorious campaign, Mr Trump said that a "small group" in Washington had "reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost".
"Washington flourished but the people did not share in its wealth," he said.

"Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed.
"The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country."
He added: "That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment and it belongs to you."

He added: "That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment and it belongs to you."

Hundreds of thousands of people packed onto the National Mall to witness one of the most remarkable transfers of power in American history.
Thousands of protesters have also poured into Washington.
The new Republican President is expected to begin issuing executive orders within hours, according to aides, keeping promises he made on the campaign trail.

Donald, Melania, Barack and Michelle Coffee Meeting At The White House

Tradition reigned at The White House when President Barack Obama and Michelle met on the portico and the new First Lady presented the outgoing one with something Tiffany.

It's a tradition before the swearing in that the 2 couples talk over coffee at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
The tradition was started in 2009, when Michelle Obama gave Laura Bush a present.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan Writes an Open Letter To Donald Trump

Immediate past Nigeria’s president,Goodluck Jonathan,  has showered praise on Donald Trump, US president-elect, celebrating his “footprints in politics, media, education, sports, entertainment and the arts” ahead of his swearing-in on Friday.

He urged Trump to work with the African continent to achieve its “God-given potential” during his four-year tenure.

In an open letter written to Trump, the immediate past president said the world is “optimistic” that the US president-elect’s success as an entrepreneur will be replicated in his new role as leader of America.
“As the United States of America opens a new chapter today, many around the world, myself inclusive, are optimistic that the success you have achieved in your career as one of the world’s foremost entrepreneurs will be translated to your life as a public servant and custodian of the trust of the American people.
“For over four decades, you have consistently created wealth and opportunities for yourself, your family, your country and its citizens. The city of New York, host to the United Nations Headquarters, thus the world’s most prominent city, bears the hallmark of your signature through your real estate developments.
“You have also left your footprints in politics, media, education, sports, entertainment and the arts. From this backdrop, I am very hopeful that the United States of America and indeed the rest of the world will be witnessing great, worthy and positive frontiers under the Trump Presidency.
“Let me seize this opportunity to express my hope and desire that your administration will work with Africa to help her people realize their achievable great future and harness the God-given potential domiciled in the land and people of Africa from Cairo to Cape Town,” Jonathan’s letter read in part.
Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States today.

Street Fight Breaks Out At Anti-Trump Rally (Photos)

Anti-Trump protests are already getting violent -- and we got this crazy video of a fight breaking out on the street, with a woman getting assaulted in Washington, D.C. ... just one block from the inauguration.
It's unclear what sparked the conflict, but it appears some Trump protesters pissed off a group of men walking past them ... then all hell broke loose. Radio host Alex Jones was nearby and shouted for cops.
Officers responded quickly, but it's obvious it's going to be a tense day in Washington ... and possibly across the country.

Check Out Donald Trump's Family Tree Photos

Donald Trump has often said his closest friendships are with his five children, their partners and the seven grand kids they have provided him and he is determined to keep them close at hand.

When asked at the second presidential debate to name one positive thing about Trump, Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton said, “I respect his children. His children are incredibly able and devoted, and I think that says a lot about Donald.”
He himself has said: “I have a lot of good relationships. I have good enemies, too, which is okay. But I think more of my family than others.”
Trump will become the first president to have been married three times and to have been divorced twice.
His current wife is only the second foreign-born first lady - if she takes the post - and is the first former model married to a president.
And, if rumours are to be believed, although barred from appointing his family members to any official cabinet post it seems he has found a way to guarantee them all a role in the White House.

Donald Trump's family tree

1. Eric Trump, 32

The youngest child from Trump’s marriage to Ivana, Eric broke family tradition when he attended Georgetown instead the University of Pennsylvania like his father, brother and sister.
He joined the Trump Organisation in 2006 – assuming responsibility for expanding his father’s company’s real estate portfolio. He also established the Eric Trump Foundation in 2006, which fundraises for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
However, the foundation has been dogged by controversy after tax records showed significant amounts of funds raised went towards the costs of hosting fundraising events at Trump Organisation golf venues.
The 33-year-old was also a task adviser and boardroom judge on the US version of The Apprentice, which his dad used to host. He is estimated to be worth around £120million.

Eric married long-term girlfriend Lara Lea Yunaska in November 2014, at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. Loves big game hunting like his brother.

2. Lara Yunaska Trump, 34

Journalist Lara first met Eric Trump in New York - and had no idea he was the heir to a property empire. They married seven years later in November 2014 at the Trumps’ Mar-A-lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

3. Donald Trump, 70

Newly elected President of the United States of America, AKA leader of the free world. After a long and bruising election, he'll now have access to the nuclear codes, be in charge of America's military, and have the power to turn his policies into law. Infamously said he could "grab [women] by the p***y" and that, as a famous man, "you can do anything [to them]".

4. Barron William Trump, 10

The youngest of Donald's five children, Barron is described by his mum Melania as her "little Donald" (minds out of the gutter, please).
He was thrust into the media spotlight during his father’s presidential campaign, and famously struggled to keep his eyes open during his dad’s victory speech on election night.
He will not immediately move to Washington instead of staying in New York to finish school until June. When he does leave Manhattan, he will be the first young son to move into the White House since JFK Jr. lived there in the early 1960s. Like his father Barron likes to play golf and builds cities and airports although using Lego.
Best known for wearing teeny versions of his dad's suits, complete with little ties.

5. Melania Trump, 46

Brought up in Slovenia, Donald Trump’s third wife is the first foreign-born US first lady in two centuries - England’s Louisa Adams was the last from 1825 -1829.
She was born in Slovenia to a Communist father and speaks five languages - Slovenian, French, English, Serbian and German. Met Donald in 1998 and married him in 2005, becoming his third wife after Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.
The former model raised eyebrows with her many naked photoshoots. She once posed nude for GQ and was famously ridiculed after her first major speech was found to have been plagiarised from Michelle Obama.
Unusually Melania is not moving into the White House straight away, staying in New York until the couple’s 10-year-old son Barron finishes the school year. Little has been said about what her public role will be although she has promised to be a “traditional” first lady “like Jackie Kennedy”. She has said she wants to advocate against internet bullying, which caused further ridicule given her husband’s frequent Twitter attacks.

6. Vanessa Haydon Trump, 38

Model, businesswoman and actress who starred in Something's Gotta Give. She married Donald Jr. in 2005 and has five children with him.

7. Kai Trump, 9

With her cousin Barron just one year older than her, Kai is one of the youngest of the Trump Tribe. She - along with parents Don Jr. and Vanessa - has been supporting her granddad on the election trail.

8. Donald Trump III, 6

One of eight grandchildren, the third Donald to carry the President’s name knows how to rock a tiny suit.

9. Donald 'Don' Trump Jr., 38

Often seen stood smugly by his father’s side, big game hunter Donald Jr, 39, is one of Trump’s three children to his first wife, Ivana.
He is a businessman who works alongside his siblings as Executive Vice President at the Trump Organization. Don made a series of appearances in his dad's reality show, The Apprentice, and married model Vanessa in 2005. He's father to their five children; Kai, Chloe, Donald III, Tristan and Spencer.

Like his siblings, he works in the family business which he, along with his brother Eric have now been passed the reins to while their father occupies the White House.
During the election campaign, the 38-year-old drew criticism when he tweeted a picture comparing Syrian refugees to poisoned Skittles suggesting America should not accept any. Trump Jr, who shares the same name as his dad, married model Vanessa Kay Haydon in 2011 and the couple have five children. His eldest son is also called Donald John Trump.

10. Ivanka Trump, 35

Businesswoman whose net worth is thought to be around $150million. Ivanka is the founder of her own jewellery and fashion line and works in the Trump family business. She's also mother to Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, and married to their father Jared.
Undoubtedly the most measured of the Trump family, the 35-year-old’s decision to move to Washington suggests America can expect a prominent first daughter. As the darling child of the incoming president, she was placed in a difficult position by her father after positioning herself as an advocate for women’s rights.
She was reported to have often been forced to speak with her father about his attitude which had become mired in accusations of misogyny.
During the campaign, she called for affordable childcare and equal pay — championing traditionally Democratic Party causes. A successful businesswoman in her own right building a clothing empire she has had to distance herself from company to avoid a conflict of interest in her work in the White House.
Ivanka Trump, with husband Jared Kushner, has called for affordable childcare and equal pay
Unlike her father, she uses social media to post pictures of her children to her 2.1 million Instagram followers, maintaining a carefully curated public image.

11. Jared Kushner, 35

The baby-faced husband of Ivanka - and father to their three children - has had a meteoric rise to become one of the most powerful men in government with a starring role in his father-in-law’s White House.
Jared is a property developer and owner of the New York Observer, a newspaper that came out stronger for his father-in-law.
The Jewish Orthodox grandson of Holocaust survivors, he is considered a calming influence on Trump. Both he and his father-in-law inherited vast property empires from their fathers at a relatively young age, and their apparent bond may be based in part at least on similar experiences. Discreet and unflinchingly loyal, Kushner, 36, is reported to have been involved in counselling his father-in-law to choose Mike Pence as his running mate, over Chris Christie.

12. Tiffany Trump, 23

Despite his eldest children’s regular appearances on the election campaign Tiffany has largely shunned the spotlight. The 23-year-old is the incoming President’s daughter from his second marriage to Marla Maples and reportedly named after Tiffany & Co. the jewellery store next door to Trump Tower.
She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and was brought up in California. Tiffany is the youngest of Trump's daughters and has dabbled in modelling, fashion (with an internship at Vogue), music (she released a song called Like A Bird at the age of 17. It wasn't great) and social media influencing - her Instagram has over 310,000 followers.
The college graduate - who is dating Democrat Ross Mechanic - is reportedly looking at attending Harvard Law School. She is the only adult child not to be named in the transition team.

How God Delivered Me From Seductive Women In 2016 – Comic Actor Saka

Image result for saka oyetoro
Like most other Nigerian entertainers who survived 2016 without getting their fingers burnt in one way or another, popular comic actor and MTN ambassador, Hafeez Oyetoro, aka Saka, has every reason to be grateful to God.
Oyetoro said, in an interview with PUNCH Newspaper, that his biggest triumph in the past year was his ability to overcome temptation from some of his numerous female admirers.

“If you are a celebrity, women will always come to you. Most of the time, their intention is to seduce you. Well, in 2016, some of them tried to seduce me and to make me do certain things that I had sworn never to do when I got married. But, I thank God that I was able to resist them. It was not by my power; God gave me the grace to resist them,” he said.
The actor almost swore that he had never had an extra-marital affair since he got married. “Why should I? My wife is young and very pretty. Besides, it is not in my character to be chasing women around,” he said.
Asked if he has finally settled for a full-time career in film acting, Oyetoro, who is probably somewhere in Victoria Island right now, taking part in the shooting of a new Yoruba movie by a son of the legendary Baba Omilani of the Alarinjo Travelling Theatre fame, said, ‘I am always in the movies, although I still teach in Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin, Lagos.

Also, aware that many of his colleagues and fans wonder how he has managed to combine teaching with acting, he explained, “Most producers consider my position as a lecturer in a tertiary institution before giving me a role to play in a movie. Then they work round my schedule.
“The fact that I teach theatre arts, which involves a lot of practical work, also gives me an advantage. I practise what I teach and I am not exactly an extrovert. I am so busy that I don’t have a social life any longer.”

Indeed, keeping Oyetoro off the screen is like denying him something that is vital to his existence. The actor has kept his career alive by appearing in two movies that made waves between 2015 and 2016.  He has appeared in Taxi Driver aka Oko Ashewo alongside Odunlade Adekola, Femi Jacobs and Ijeoma Agu. Also, he was on the cast of Wedding Party, a film produced by Mo Abudu and directed by Kemi Adetiba, which also parades some of the big names in the entertainment industry.

Evidently, just as the actor’s personal profile has vastly improved over the past five years, his preferences have also changed. “Nowadays I like to appear in major films. I have learnt to be selective and I don’t want to be involved in just any movie anymore,” he told our correspondent.
Indeed, Oyetoro has every reason to feel on top of the world. Telecommunications giants, MTN Nigeria, have just renewed his advertising contract with them and his acting career is currently experiencing an unprecedented boost. With this development, no doubt, it will not be out of place to conclude that his star is on the ascendancy.

However, for the artiste, whose juicy endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria was widely celebrated a few years ago, success and fame have come with some sacrifices. One of them, he complained to our correspondent, is his ‘loss of freedom’.

“Suddenly I can no longer go anywhere without people rushing to greet and hug me.  I used to go to the market to do some shopping a few years ago. I can’t do that again because I don’t want to be mobbed by admirers. I don’t feel free to mix with the crowd anymore,” he said.
Earlier in 2015, Oyetoro had complained about unknown cyber criminals who created 25 fake Facebook accounts in his name and were using them to strip unsuspecting members of the public of various sums of money.
