MAN CHARGED IN COURT FOR ALLEGEDLY DUPI NG AN IRISH BUSINESSWOMAN OF €53,000

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tombrown alias Michael Freeman and his company, Yoshinaka Corporation, before Justice A. O. Faji of the Federal High Court, sitting in Asaba, Delta State on a 34-count charge bordering on obtaining by false presence.

Tombrown is alleged to have duped an Irish businesswoman, Izabela Glogowska. of over  through internet scam.
According to Glogowska, the petitioner, Tombrown posed as a prominent online trader, Michael Freeman, to hoodwink her to part with her money.

Count one of the charge reads: “That you, Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tonbrown alias Michael Freeman, Yoshinaka Corporation, on or about the 8th day of May, 2015, at Warri, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did represent yourself as one Michael Freeman a famous online trader and obtain the sum of Five thousand, Eight Hundred Euro’s (£5800) from Izabela Glogowska under the false pretence that you were going to pay the said sum into Izabela Glogowska’s Perfect Money account, a pretence you knew to be false, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the said Act.”


Another count reads: “That you, Tonwerigha Oyintonbra Tombrown alias Michael Freeman, Yoshinaka Corporation, on or about the 11th day of May, 2015, at Asaba, Delta State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did represent yourself as one Michael Freeman a famous online trader and obtain the sum of Four thousand, Three Hundred Euro’s (£4300) from Izabela Glogowska under the false pretence that you were going to pay the said sum into Izabela Glogowska’s Perfect Money account, a pretence you knew to be false, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the said Act.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.
In view of his plea, the prosecuting counsel, S. Hussaini asked the court to fix a date for the commencement of trial and that the accused person be remanded in prison custody.
Counsel to the defendant, I. B. Azago made an oral application for bail which was refused by the court. He was asked to make a formal application for bail.

Justice Faji adjourned the case to January 23 and 24 2017 and ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody pending the determination of his bail.

WOMAN PLANNED WITH A MAN TO R*PE HER SEVEN-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

 

A mother has been dragged to court after she plotted with a paedophile, Stuart Bailey, to let him r*pe her seven-year-old daughter.

According to Metro UK, Stuart Bailey, 54, and the woman, who cannot be named, allegedly planned their s*x attack on the girl in text messages and phone calls.
A jury was told Bailey asked the girl’s mother to ‘tart up’ the schoolgirl with make-up before ‘having his way’ with her.

In several texts to the girl’s mother he allegedly said: ‘Let me do as I please.’ In another he said: ‘What is she wearing? Is she in school uniform?’
Prosecutor Jim Davis told how the woman’s partner suspected she was in contact with Bailey – and later discovered the text messages planning the ordeal with the young girl.
Mr Davis said the partner made a statement to police where he had suspicions that ‘she was cheating on me’ and checked her mobile phone.

Mr Davies said: ‘After confronting his partner about his suspicions, she reacted angrily and told him to leave the house.’
But the man told police how he refused to hand back her phone.
He said: ‘She was shouting at me to give her phone back and stopped me from leaving the house.
‘I had to physically push her out of the way to get out.’
The jury heard that he left the house with the woman’s phone – and checked the messages when he arrived in work.

Cardiff Crown Court heard how the couple were using the letter ‘R’ to symbolize the word ‘rape’.
Other texts read out in court read ‘Let’s abuse her’ and ‘I can R her.’
He described them as ‘horrific’, and that he couldn’t finish reading them as they were ‘too upsetting’.
Bailey, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, and the woman, who cannot be named, both deny with arranging and commissioning child s*x offences.
The trial at Cardiff Crown Court continues.

LAMAR ODOM ADMITS HIMSELF INTO REHAB ONE YEAR AFTER HE ALMOST DIED OF OVERDOSE

Lamar Odom is ready to get some professional help.

E! News confirms the former Los Angeles Lakers player recently admitted himself into rehab in San Diego, Calif.

"It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life," a source shared with E! News. "He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety."

The decision comes more than a year after the former NBA player experienced a near-fatal overdose in Las Vegas.

 Back in October 2015, Lamar became unconscious at a brothel in Crystal, Nev. An ambulance took him to a nearby hospital where doctors found a cocktail of drugs in his system.

While Kloe Kardashian recalled the moment when she was told he only had four hours to live, Lamar defied friends, family and doctor's expectations and was able to move to a private  rehabilitation center closer to Calabasas.

While the athlete experienced some setbacks during his recovery including reports of being homeless, sources previously told E! News that he was focused on living a healthier life.

"Lamar's not homeless. He has a nice place in California," a source previously shared with us. "He is doing well. He is determined to stay on the straight and narrow [path] and wants to be the best father he can possibly be and he is doing the work required to achieve that."
Our source added, "It is not easy, but he is focused and determined."

Lamar's rep could not be reached for comment regarding rehab news. The athlete was last spotted shopping in Beverly Hills on December 6.
