prize haul. William Masvinhu won $1,700, plus a year’s school tuition
for one of his children, while all participants were awarded overalls,
safety shoes and raincoats
because, well, ugly doesn’t pay the bills. But the beauty of this
pageant is in the preparation. No diets, no salon treatments, no
memorizing “I just want to help people” speeches. “My ugliness comes
naturally to me,” Masvinhu told allafrica.com. His manager, Michael
