Neyo is a Nigerian singer and a prolific songwriter whose real names are "Adeniyi Oluwasegun Adesina" who come from Ogbomosho, Oyo state.
Neyo was born on May 24th, in the city of Kaduna to a lovely family of five. Neyo briefly attended primary school in Kaduna before moving to Lagos to complete both primary and secondary school in surulere, Lagos.
He continued with his studies by attending the University of Lagos where he earned a degree in physiology. Neyo has always been passionate about music and he has written over 150 songs and has also performed in several neighborhood and campus shows
.
He was formerly a member of the now defunct group called "3nity".One of his songs that made waves is " Heavy Spenders" and was well received by his fans.
