Michael Jackson “Killer” Doctor, Released From Jail

Dr. Conrad Murray left the Los Angeles County jail under sheriff’s escort, avoiding reporters and Michael Jackson fans waiting for his release early Monday.
Murray, who served two years of a four-year sentence for causing Michael Jackson’s death, was driven away in a sheriff’s car for the “safety and security” of the jail, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.
The handful of Jackson fans gathered outside the jail accused the Los Angeles County sheriff of showing favoritism to Murray by slipping him out of the jail through a back exit, instead of the door where freed prisoners normally leave.
Murray, who the sheriff’s spokesman described as an exemplary inmate, was kept away from the general inmate population during his two years in the jail. He was also allowed to have liberal use of a telephone inside his cell during his last year.
Murray’s lawyer told reporters outside the jail that he would try to get his medical licenses reinstated in California, Texas and Nevada so he can resume the medical career interrupted by his conviction on the involuntary manslaughter in 2011.
A jury concluded after a two-month trial that Murray’s negligence led to Jackson’s death from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol.
The cardiologist, who was hired to serve as the pop icon’s personal doctor for his comeback tour in 2009, told investigators he gave Jackson nightly infusions of propofol to treat his intractable insomnia for two months so he could rest for rehearsals.
Prosecutors argued that his negligence included leaving Jackson unmonitored and unattended while the powerful anesthetic was being pumped into his vein through an IV drip.
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren, arguing for the maximum four years in jail, said Murray was “playing Russian roulette with Michael Jackson’s life every single night,” by using propofol to put him to sleep in “a reckless, obscene manner.”
Murray’s lawyers unsuccessfully argued that Jackson self-administered the drug while Murray was out of his bedroom.
He remained unremorseful during his two years in jail.
“My entire approach may not have been an orthodox approach, but my intentions were good,” Murray told CNN’s Anderson Cooper interview last April.
He said his intentions were to wean Jackson from propofol. He said he succeeded in eliminating propofol from his insomnia treatment three days before Jackson’s death.
“I explained to Michael that this is an artificial way of considering sleep. It was basically sedation, minimal sedation,” he told Cooper.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor imposed the maximum sentence on Murray, even though the doctor was technically eligible for probation.
Pastor, in a 30-minute speech explaining his sentence, cited Murray’s “pattern of deceit and lies. That pattern was to assist Dr. Murray.”
Jackson died “not because of an isolated one-off occurrence or incident,” Pastor said. “He died because of a totality of circumstances which are directly attributable to Dr. Murray … because of a series of decisions that Dr. Murray made.”
Murray, he said, became involved in “a cycle of horrible medicine.”
Jackson family members and fans have complained that Murray should have been prosecuted for second degree murder — not manslaughter.

BBA LOVERS, MELVIN AND DILLISH FINALLY SPENDS SOME TIME TOGETHER

Dillish Matthews and Melvin Oduah met up in Abuja over the weekend

Dillish Matthews and Melvin Oduah met up in Abuja over the weekend
Big Brother Africa – The Chase winner Dillish Matthews has made Nigeria her second home, travelling in and out of the West African country for the past few weeks. And she’s finally met up with her ‘lover’ Mevlin Oduah.
The pair met up in Abuja last night at an Acoustic Night event held at Blue Velvet Marquee. And they looked beautiful together.
In related news, the Edo State Government has denied hosting Dillish days after the BBA star paid the state and Governor Adams Oshiomole a ‘courtesy visit’.
An official statement has been released by the State Government categorically stating that the state did not host or entertain the 29-year-old Namibian when she visited the South-South state. The statement was released in reaction to an article in the Daily Independent newspaper on Friday, October 25, 2013, where Eddie Iroh condemned the Governor for ‘spending state’s funds so recklessly’.
The report stated that ‘the likes of Governors Oshiomhole, Fashola and Dickson who are in the habit of dipping their hands into public funds on such ventures should have known that in civilized climes, such celebrations were funded from the Governors’pockets and not public funds‘.
How libelous! From the above, it is obvious that Mr. Eddie Iroh is suffering from brain wave. First, it would have been a thing of interest for Edo State Government to host the said BBA winner, Dillish, to justify her well-advertised declaration in the BBA House that Edo State people are very hospitable. That in itself was a global endorsement that is purely priceless. Again, if Dillish would agree, as a BBA ambassador, Edo State Government would be willing to host her in future to prove to cynics and naysayers like Eddie Iroh that Edo State is indeed, not only hospitable, but also a safe haven for those who intend to do legitimate business in the State‘, part of the statement signed by Prince Kassim Afegbu, Special Adviser Media and Public Affairs To The Edo State Governor said.
To the best of our knowledge, Edo State did not host Dillish in whatever material particular. This could be verified from the Governor’s daily routines which are usually available for public consumption and can be confirmed from the Protocol Department of the Governor’s Office or Government House‘, the statement continued.
Sources say Oshiomole personally hosted Dillish, with some insisting she wasn’t hosted in the Government house but at the Governor’s private lodge.

EDO STATE GOVERNMENT DENIES HOSTING DILLISH 'BBA WINNER, SEASON 8'

The Edo State government has released  a press statement denying hosting BBA The Chase winner, Dillish Mathews, last weekend.

Well, they kinda have a point...they can say the government didn't host her, but Governor Adams Oshiomhole hosted her...and that's fact! She wasn't hosted at the government house, but the governor's private house in Edo state.

Dillish and a few other girls were there on Saturday October 19th (for those wondering why she didn't make an appearance at Selly's party in Abuja that day)
However, Dillish gave a condition for accepting the invitation...she would only pay a courtesy visit and nothing more. All parties agreed!

Read the press statement below;

EDO STATE GOVERNMENT DID NOT HOST BBA’S DILLISH.
Our attention has been drawn to a news report in Daily Independent of Friday, October 25, 2013, where one Mr. Eddie Iroh was quoted as expressing displeasure on a rumoured hosting of Dillish, the winner of Big Brother Africa. In the said report, Eddie Iroh was said to have “condemned the Governor for spending state’s funds so recklessly”.

The report added that “ the likes of Governors Oshiomhole, Fashola and Dickson who are in the habit of dipping their hands into public funds on such ventures should have known that in civilized climes, such celebrations were funded from the Governors’pockets and not public funds”.

Again, if Dillish would agree, as a BBA ambassador, Edo State Government would be willing to host her in future to prove to cynics and naysayers like Eddie Iroh that Edo State is indeed, not only hospitable, but also a safe haven for those who intend to do legitimate business in the State. It will be a departure from orchestrated and concocted stories often peddled by jobless people like Eddie Iroh, who rather than devote their old age to reflect on their absurdities when they called the shots, have now taken to the cyber space for surfing cheap gossip, chit-chat and unfounded allegations.

To the best of our knowledge, Edo State did not host Dillish in whatever material particular. This could be verified from the Governor’s daily routines which are usually available for public consumption and can be confirmed from the Protocol Department of the Governor’s Office or Government House. Mr. Eddie Iroh’s comment is pure hallucination. Eddie Iroh’s story is an open sore that is festered with several incongruities, inanities, ambiguities and failing memory. He should provide evidence to show that Governor Oshiomhole dips his hands into public funds to host his private visitors or simply keep his mouth shut. We have gone past the age of Eddie Iroh, an age of those men of yesterday, who abused public institutions they presided over, to fest their nest at the expense of tax payers’ money. In Edo State, we are not only accountable to the people; we have also earned their respect and trust.

CHRIS BROWN AND LOVER 'KARRUECHE TRAN' THRASHES EACH OTHER AFTER CHRIS'S ARREST

Chris Brown's on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran trashed him on twitter today a few hours after it emerged that he'd been arrested for punching a man in D.C. Her reaction to the news came as a surprise to some people because their split, which happened recently, hadn't been made public.

Chris and Karrueche had a falling out about a week ago after she asked to move into Chris' LA pad. A source claims Chris flipped over the request and accused Karrueche of not being 'grateful' for everything he already does for her, and for trying to push him too hard. Chris and Karrueche  have since unfollowed each other on Twitter. Lol. Continue...

"Karrueche basically wants to move back into Chris’ house and be there and lay some roots down. She’s wasn’t trying to suffocate him or have him on lock,” a source said. “In her mind, it was just a baby step, but Chris took it the wrong way. He got really mad and told her, ‘Why can’t you just be happy with what we got?’ and ‘Why you always trying to ask for more? I do all this sh!t and you’re not grateful.’”

“He thinks she’s trying to use him. That made her cry and she was devastated that he would say some s--t like that and she left,”

"Chris acts out and this is his way of dealing with his feelings with any girl who wants to get close. He’s not good with his emotions and he doesn’t know how to act." the source revealed.

Chris and Karrueche have unfollowed each other on Twitter, and Chris kinda hinted he had broken up with her when he wrote on his twitter: (See below...)

“Hamisheh Asegh,” translates to “perpetual lover,” - that's kinda like a woman who's good enough to sleep with but nothing more.

“I Begged To Sell CDs In US Salons To Survive’’ – Banky W

banky-w-460x440
In a recent interview with Vanguard, R n B singer, Banky W shared his success story; he didn’t just become the famous Banky W overnight, he worked hard for it.
He disclosed the hard work and pains that preceded his fame and success today and how he moved from being an undergraduate begging for audience at salons in the United States, to building a musical empire that has produced internationally acclaimed artistes like Skales and Wizkid.
See excerpts below:
“Everybody knows me to be the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of EME, but what people do not know is that EME started when I was in my third year in university in New York. You see, we all dream dreams, but it is important to think very big and start where you are because God never gives you everything but gives you enough to start.
At that time, I knew I wanted to do music, but of course I understood nobody starts by selling a million CDs or the big screen!
I worked in fast foods outlets, clothing stores and as a knife salesman, selling knives from door to door. That way, I gathered money to pay for studio recording time. I was recording with a close friend at that time.
After making that music, we printed a thousand CDs though we didn’t have any fan. I had one battered car that broke down virtually everywhere, so, we would print black and white posters, stick them on the sides of the car, sell from the car’s trunk and drive to salons to do marketing.
We would walk to the owners of the salons, greet politely, and ask them to let us entertain their customers. Sometimes, some would kick us out and sometimes some would say yes. If told yes, after singing for a minute or two, we would sell our CDs to the customers! That was the beginning!
A lot of people see you on stage and see the success but do not know what you had to go through! I never had one really big break; it was always two steps forward and a couple backwards.
But I just decided that I was going to make music work for me. That was why I moved on to a new salon each time any salon rejected me!
I just kept going because I believe failure is when you give up. Albert Einstein said he tried a hundred times to make the light bulb. When he was asked what kept him going during the 99 times, he said: ‘I didn’t consider those 99 times as failure; rather, I considered them 99 ways that it didn’t work!’
We went about selling CDs and, on the days we couldn’t sell much, we would sit down and be broke together. I remember my friend was a member of a church that usually served food after service. So, on the days we didn’t sell CDs and were too broke to buy food, we would attend service in that church so we could pack rice and store in the fridge.
At a point, being a student of industrial engineering, I was working for an engineering company and was recording as well. I would go to work from 7am till about 2pm and then go to school till about 8pm, and then drive two and a half hours to New York City where the studio that would let us record for less was, and record until about 2am.
I would then drive two and a half hours back home to be back at work at 7am the following day.
One day, I was driving home from work and was so tired that I fell asleep while on a bridge. I would have driven off from the top of the bridge to God knows where, if not for an on-going construction work. God really saved me!”
After a while, Banky’s hard work began to pay off and, even while in school, he began winning awards, beginning with the ‘Albany Idol’ competition. Other international awards soon followed.
In 2008 when he decided to move to Nigeria after the completion of one of his albums, Mr Capable, Banky was consistently told his genre of music ‘would never appeal to Nigerians and therefore wouldn’t ‘sell’.
As he got turned down, pressure mounted on him and his manager to change their genre of music but Banky strongly held on to another long-standing principle which had taught him to stand out by being unique rather than trying to imitate anyone’s skill.
He therefore insisted on sticking to R&B, and this paid-off as he soon became a household name in the Nigerian entertainment industry!
“You cannot say enough about the grace of God and I therefore do not want to claim any form of glory. Falling down is inevitable but getting back up is optional!
Frankly, you can’t appreciate sunshine if you’ve never been through a heavy rain. Yes, life is tough, but what do you do in those tough moments?
Do you learn the lesson, stand up again, consider yourself stronger and keep going? Or do you sit down and feel sorry for yourself?
The graveyard, they say, is the richest place in the world because therein lies so many who died with their dreams. So, my advice is, do not give up! If Banky can be where he is today, you can be where you want to be if you put to mind to it.”

Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Assault Charge

chris brown (CNN) – Chris Brown and a bodyguard were arrested Sunday morning and charged with felony assault, the Washington Metropolitan Police Department said.
The singer and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were allegedly involved in an altercation with another man outside the W Hotel at 4:25 a.m., police said.
The two were taken into custody and were being held at the 2nd District police station, police said.
Brown, 24, was in Washington to host a “homecoming party” at The Park at Fourteen nightclub Saturday night, according to his Twitter feed, just four blocks away from where he was arrested Sunday morning.
His representative and lawyer did not immediately respond to CNN calls for comment Sunday.
Brown is on probation in California for a felony domestic violence conviction involving his former girlfriend Rihanna. Any arrest could be considered a violation of that probation, which could result in jail time.
Prosecutors filed probation violation charges against him twice in the past year, resulting in the judge ordering him to complete an additional 1,000 hours of community service.
Brown was arrested in February 2009 for punching Rihanna inside a rented Lamborghini on a Hollywood street. The altercation left the face of Rihanna, also a chart-topping singer, bruised and bloody on the eve of the Grammy Awards.
He entered a guilty plea seven months later and was sentenced to serve five years probation and ordered to spend more than 1,400 hours in “labor-oriented service.”
His probation reports were glowing until the past year, when the district attorney’s office accused him of not completing the 1,400 hours of community labor, which he was allowed to do in his home state of Virginia.
He was also accused of hit-and-run following a minor traffic crash earlier this year. The driver of the other car told investigators that Brown “went ballistic” and screamed at her after his Range Rover rear-ended her Mercedes on a Los Angeles street.
In August, Brown’s lawyer reached a settlement with prosecutors to end their efforts to revoke his probation. The deal called for Brown to complete another 1,000 hours of community service.
Probation rules require Brown to stay out of all legal trouble. Even an arrest that does not lead to a conviction could result in a probation violation charge.
He is scheduled to appear before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin on November 20 for a probation status hearing.
