PICTURE: 24-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR THREATENING TO KILL US PRESIDENT-ELECT, DONALD TRUMP

My Life Goal is to Assassinate Trump - 24-year-old Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill US President-elect (Photo)

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after he posted on the social media that he would like to see United States President-elect, Donald Trump, dead.

The man identified as Zachary Benson, from Fairview Park in Cleveland, Ohio has been charged in a federal court after tweeting a threat to assassinate U.S President-elect, Donald Trump on election night.

According to a report by dailymail, the suspect posted the remark on Twitter a few minutes before the Republican nominee was declared the winner of last week's election.

'My life goal is to assassinate Trump. Don't care if I serve infinite sentences. That man deserves to decease (sic) existing.

'Diplomacy. F***ing fools. I hate you all. I want to bomb every one of your voting booths and your general areas,' Benson tweeted as he was arrested a few hours later and interviewed by the Secret Service.

After the results were announced, many of those who opposed Trump rushed to Twitter to call for his assassination. But Benson is believed to be the first person to be charged in connection with one of those tweets.

Benson who has now been charged with making a threat to a successor to the presidency, said he had no intention of following through with the threat and was 'just frustrated thinking about how President-elect Trump's policies could affect his job'.

PHOTOS: OVER 10 PEOPLE KILLED AND SEVERAL INJURED IN COMMUNAL CLASH IN CROSS RIVER STATE

Over 10 people have been killed in communal clashes between Usumutong and Ediba communities in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State. Scores from both communities also sustained serious injuries.
According to Thisday, an eyewitness said trouble started on Friday, November 19th, following allegation that youths from Ediba had gone to a land in dispute between both communities when a funeral ceremony was ongoing in Usumutong.

"They are still quarrelling over a piece of land. They are saying that the last time there was a conflict, the Usumutong people inflicted so much casualties on them, so they were looking for an opportunity to strike back and did so on Friday. It was a revenge attack.
"The people of Usumutong who suffered the attack are planning a counterattack from what I am hearing because it is like today (Monday) is the market day of the Ediba people. It is actually a sad situation because the two communities are brothers and sister. There is no difference between them and they are just killing themselves like that. It is just animalistic. In this age of civilisation people are still doing such."
An account from another anonymous source from area stated that the recent war had broken out due to suspicion that an Ediba youth who was a cyclist was attacked on Friday and murdered by some gunmen suspected to be persons from Usumutong.
Some of the young men killed have been identified as Fashion, William, Otabuyina, and Fatun, all from Usumutong. See more pics below:

MOTHER GOES IN TO EARLY LABOUR DUE TO THE SHOCK OF DAUGHTER'S KIDNAP (PHOTOS)

Khadija Umar
The shock from the abduction of two-year-old Khadija by an unknown woman in Kuje area of the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday, forced her mother into premature labour on Sunday.

The girl’s father, Mr. Umar Suleiman, informed Northern City News on the telephone on Sunday that the girl was kidnapped in their former neighbouhood in Kuje while he was away in Akure.

Suleiman had on Saturday announced the abduction of his daughter on his Facebook wall.
In the post, which was published at 3:58pm, he said, “This is my daughter. Her name is Khadija. She was snatched two hours ago by a woman in Kuje. Please, anybody who sees her should report to the nearest police station. My number is 08022416077.”

Narrating what transpired on the fateful day, Suleiman said, “Yesterday (Saturday), when I was going for a job in Ondo and took a flight to Akure, I left my wife and daughter at home.
“The mother (his wife) is pregnant and, at a point, she started feeling a discomfort. She decided to visit the hospital while she kept our daughter, who is two years and seven months with our former neighbours where we lived for two years before relocating to the Low Cost Estate where we’ve only spent three months.

“On the mother’s return, the neighbours told her the girl had gone to buy ‘wara ’ (milk cake) in company with a neighbour’s son , a 10-year-old. The boy later returned to say a woman had snatched the girl from him.”

The father, who said he was talking to our correspondent from the police station where the incident was reported, said, “Because of that discomfort, the mother went into labour. She was in shock and could not be delivered of the baby. This morning, (Sunday), they had to conduct a caesarean section on her because the baby’s heartbeat was not proper, they had to do the surgery.”

When contacted on Sunday, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Anjuguri Manzah, said he was not aware of the case.

PICTURE: CLEANER STOLE N5.675 MILLION FROM DIAMOND BANK

\

A cleaner, Peter Oko, has narrated how he stole N5.675 million from the New Nyanya branch of Diamond Bank, where he worked.

The 29 year-old stated that he took the keys to the vault, stole the money and hid it in a carton, which he took home after the close of work.

The money was however recovered by the police, which said that the suspect had been charged to court.

Oko told Northern City News at the Nasarawa State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department in Lafia that he carried out the theft alone, saying, “As a cleaner, I knew where all the keys were kept.”

He added, “I single-handedly carried out the operation because I have been working as a cleaner in the bank for the past 10 years and my eyes had been on one of the keys to the vault, where the bank used to keep all its money.

“As a cleaner, my attention was not only on the keys, but on how I will carry out the operation successfully without being caught by either the security or any staff of the bank.”

The suspect said he stole the money without the knowledge of the bank workers, adding that he had access to all the foreign currencies in the bank as he knew where they were kept.

“As a cleaner, I knew where all the secret files were kept and where the bank kept its keys where you can have access to dollars, Nigerian currency and all other currencies.”

Oko blamed the economic situation for his action, stating that he had never been involved in a criminal act before now.

“The devil of economy recession pushed me into the crime; I have never committed a criminal act before, luck ran out on me and I was caught in the process,” he stated.

The state Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Bello, said the crime was reported to the police in October, 2016, by the bank, adding that the matter was then transferred from Karu Divisional Police Headquarters to the SCIID for investigations.

ANTI-DONALD TRUMP COMMENTS AT AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS 2016

Billie Joe Armstrong
Green Day were perhaps the most vocal group on the night.
During a pyrotechnic-filled performance, they turned their track Bang Bang into an anti-Trump song.
"No Trump! No KKK! No Fascist USA!" Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong shouted to the audience.

President-elect Trump has previously declared himself a fan of the punk rock group's work, having seen their musical American Idiot and describing it as "excellent".
British musician Sting took home a lifetime achievement award and his acceptance speech seemed to make reference to current affairs.

Rock music is "perhaps America's greatest and most influential export," he said, before saying the genre has been "always open to all colours in the spirit of welcome and inclusion".
"A mixing of culture, of rhythm and passion is what made this country the greatest country in the world."
 Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah
The AMA hosts - model Gigi Hadid and Saturday Night Live comedian Jay Pharoah - made multiple jokes and comments at Donald Trump's expense.

Bruno Mars, who was born in Hawaii and has roots in Puerto Rica and the Philippines, performed at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

"I love Bruno Mars. I don't know what colour he is, so I can't deport him," Pharoah said, imitating Trump's distinctive voice.

Artists such as Lady Gaga and John Legend, who had been prominent supporters of the Hillary Clinton campaign, did not choose to speak publicly about the election at the event.

Winners on the night included Ariana Grande, who was named artist of the year.
She performed Side to Side, her collaboration with Nicki Minaj, with the pair appearing alongside topless male dancers on a jungle-themed stage.

Selena Gomez made a return to the stage after ducking out of the spotlight in August.
She won favourite female artist.

 Selena Gomez
The singer said the depression and anxiety she experienced as a result of the condition lupus, meant she needed to take some time out.
"I had to stop because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside," she said, on the brink of crying.
"I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what's in here," she said with her hand on her heart.

Ciara who is nursing her second pregnancy after giving birth to Future whom she had with her ex, American rapper, Future added: “You’ve gotta push through it and be strong.
