Police Arrest Zimbabwean Prophet Who Prophesies Mugabe's death

Patrick Mugadza, the prophet and leader of Kariba Church, prophesied that the incumbent president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe will die on 17th of October 2017, has been arrested.

According to Zim Eye, the controversial prophet was arrested on Monday, January 16, outside the Harare Magistrates Court where he had gone for his routine remand hearing. 

Mugadza is being accused of undermining the authority of the president.

Last week, the prophet said that it was revealed to him by God on December 26, 2016, while he was praying that 93-year-old Mugabe who is the oldest president in the world and has ruled for thirty-seven years would not see the end of 2017.

He however added that the only way the prophecy can be averted is if the president openly tells the public that he does not want to die.

This is second time it will be predicted that the Zimbabwean president will die in 2017.

The morbid website, called The DeathList, predicted that 2017 will be just as bad as last year for celebrity deaths.

Ahead Of Inauguration, Gambia’s President-Elect, Adama Barrow's Son Dies After Dog Bite

 

Ahead of his January 18 inauguration, president-elect of Gambia, Adama Barrow has lost his eight-year-old son after he was bitten by a dog.

According to BBC, Habibu Barrow was bitten by a dog on Sunday, January 15 and passed away on the way to the hospital at Manjai near Banjul

The young boy has already been buried although his father was not there as he is in Dakar, the capital of Senegal.

According to report, the president-elect has two wives and four children.

Meanwhile, Gambia's chief of justice, Emmanuel Fagbenle, said he will rule an injunction by ruling party, Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), seeking to stop the inauguration of Barrow.

Among other things, the APRC had called on Fagbenle to abstain from swearing Barrow on January 19.

But Emmanuel Fagbenle refused to rule on the motion because he is the subject of it, BBC reports.

It is yet unclear what will happen on 19 January.

Recall that Jammeh, who took power following a bloodless coup in 1994, lost the presidential election in December 2016 and is due to step down on 18 January.

 But Jammeh is refusing to relinquish power after he was defeated in the country’s presidential election.

A delegation of West African leaders, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, has failed to persuade Jammeh to step down.

The president and founder of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, was in his usual element when he opened the door of charity on Sunday, 15th of January, 2017, and blessed one Mr. Victor Uzochukwu Umani with a gift of Nissan Xterra car worth millions of Naira during the church’s Sunday programme tagged ‘SundayService With Apostle Johnson Suleman’.

The famous cleric, who is popularly called God’s Oracle’ for his firebrand preaching and healing prowess, added a cash of 500 thousand naira to the car gift.
Umani, giving his testimony in the presence of thousands of other worshippers at the service, said that a pastor somewhere duped him, collected huge cash and car from him, leaving him stranded and hopeless. He said that during the last Uyo ‘Help From Above Crusade’, Apostle Suleman called him out and gave him the prophecy about his good old life and the present condition.

“I confirmed Papa’s prophecy that I used to be very rich until I met that pastor who milked me dry,” Umani said, adding that it was then the Apostle invited him to the church headquarters in Auchi, Edo State, and blessed him with the car and the cash after confirming the truth about his confession.

Making as a reference point Apostle Paul in the Bible, Apostle Suleman urged pastors to emulate Paul who made tents for the people to help his ministry.

 “Pastors should have investments. Apart from ministering, pastors should emulate Paul the Apostle, Acts 18; 1-3. Pastors should have other things doing in order to avoid the shame of milking their church members. That’s why I’m into a lot of investments. I was called to minister and to deliver. But I added investments so I can help my church members and I won’t need to look to them for survival. All the cars I give, I buy from my pocket. The money I give is my personal money from my various businesses. My church has more than 500 choristers, I pay the school fees of more than a quarter of them. Many of the congregation I pay their rents. What I spend on my members in a week doubles what the ministry realizes in a month, and the tithe I pay to the church every Sunday is equal to the tithe the church members pay in two Sundays. This is just to tell pastors to strive to help their members not milking them.”

At the last Sunday service, Suleman gave a Highlander Jeep and N350,000 cash to one Pastor Solomon Ogochukwu Enuoyibo from Watch And Pray Ministry in Delta State. Also, in the last Uyo crusade, two participants were blessed with N500,000 cash each, amongst his numerous other charitable donations locally and internationally. Angry Mob Beat And Strip Abia Polytechnic Student Naked For Stealing Generator In Aba (Photos)

A student of Abia state polytechnic, Okoro Mark Chimobi, in Business Administration Management (BAM) department was caught and beaten seriously for allegedly stealing a generator set by an angry mob.
This incident happened on Monday 9th January, around 11:15am in Aba.
According to Abia News, a neighbour/ eyewitness, John  said;

“ I saw when he left and came back with a generator, I knew he stole it because that’s what he has been doing. Man Commits Suicide Over Non Payment Of Salary Arrears In Ekiti

A civil servant in Ekiti, Tope Afolayan has reportedly committed suicide.
According to sources, Afolayan, a native of Ara-Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Area worked in the Office of Accountant General as a Principal Executive Officer (PEO) on Grade Level 10.
A colleague revealed that the deceased hanged himself by the ceiling of his house located on Peace Avenue, Olorunda, Ado Ekiti.

Late Afolayan was said to have constantly complained about his inability to pay his debts due to non-payment of arrears of salaries owed government workers.

The source said, “Although he didn’t leave any suicide note before hanging himself, he had been very moody and heartbroken for a couple of weeks before the incident happened.
“He had been complaining about the debts he owed which he was unable to defray because of the arrears of salaries. In fact, he was among the last batch of applicants for car loan but his name did not come out.

“We are shocked by Tope’s death because nobody thought he would go to that extent, we are still mourning his death.”
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Alberto Adeyemi confirmed the incident.
