PHOTO: KANYE WEST IN GOOD MOOD AT ANOTHER RARE PUBLIC APPEARANCE WEEKS AFTER HOSPITALIZATION

Kanye West appeared to be in good spirits at another rare public appearance Friday, two weeks after he spent time in a hospital for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

The 39-year-old rapper visited the L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art's Leadership Circle and Members' Opening for the Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition, made up of work by Paris-based fashion and furniture designer Rick Owens and produced by his wife Michele Lamy. Kanye was seen smiling as he chatted with her. The rapper was dressed casually in a white printed long sleeve shirt, black pants and a black baseball cap. Singer FKA twigs also attended the event.

Kanye had visited the exhibit, located at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, on Dec. 8 in what is believed to have been his first public appearance since he was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in late November after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation. He also debuted a new blond hairstyle. The rapper has largely stayed out of the spotlight since his hospitalization.
 

KLOE KARDASHIAN AND LAMAR ODOM ARE OFFICIALLY DIVORCED

 
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are finally divorced, after seven years of marriage and a long breakup filled with years of turmoil, including a recent health scare for the former NBA player.
Court documents finalizing their split were filed on Dec. 9 and it was made official Saturday. Khloe had first filed for divorce in 2013, withdrew her petition last year after Lamar suffered a drug overdose, and then filed for divorce again this past May.

As part of the divorce agreement, their joint company Khlomar will be dissolved, and both have waived spousal support, CNN reported. In addition, their 2009 prenup will be honored. Khloe will also drop Lamar's last name from her legal name.

"They are friends and always will be, but they don't talk in the same way they used to," a source shared with E! News. "They became very close after the Vegas incident and obviously Lamar is extremely grateful to Khloe for everything she did for him, but their relationship has undergone a metamorphosis."

While they are not in daily contact and communicate infrequently, it appears that there is still a bond between the two.
"There will always be a deep affection there for one another, but both of them have moved on," our source added. "This divorce provides a natural end to that chapter in their life."

"I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness," Khloe wrote in a Lenny newsletter.

"I'm at peace with that decision and do feel like I honored my vows to the very end," she said. "I feel that I kept the serious vows I made in front of God with every inch of my heart, which is why I am still honoring them today even though my relationship with my ex-husband is in a different place."

Amina Yakubu, pictured right, has been arrested by the Kaduna state police command, for torturing her 4 year old step son, Al-Amin, with hot iron at their home on Kura Street Layin Aminu Kano Mando in Kaduna state. The child's mother got separated from his father some months back and Al-Amin had no choice but to live with his father and step mother. Amina has not given any valid reason for her brutal attacks on Al-Amin. Witch!

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday marked his 74th birthday anniversary with a special birthday parade and inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by the Nigerian Army.

                                                                                

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the low-key event, which took place at the fore-court of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, witnessed the Inspection of Guard by the president.
The Guard Brigade, headed by the Commander, Brigade of Guards, Brig.-Gen. Musa Yusuf also performed a Special Birthday Silent Drills, accompanied with special military birthday song in honour of the president.
                                                                              
President Buhari also cut a birthday cake and released 74 pigeons from a cage as part of the activities marking the anniversary.
                                                                       

NAN reported that President Buhari also signed birthday anniversary register where he wrote: “I am impressed with the special drills presented by the Guard Brigade.’’
                                                                                           

NAN further reported that service chiefs, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris; some ministers, including Lai Mohammed and Muhammad Bello of the FCT; Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari; Presidential spokesmen, Mr Femi Adesina and Malam Garba Shehu attended the event.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gabriel Olonishakin, who briefly spoke with State House correspondents, congratulated the president on his 74th anniversary.

He said: “We are celebrating the birthday of the President and we wish him well and good health.
“We wish him all the goodness of God as he pilots the affairs of our nation to greater heights.’’
The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, who also spoke to the correspondents, described President Buhari as “a great man and we are very pleased with his accomplishments over the years.
