I Will Not Rest Until I Address Nigeria's Challenges - Buhari

The president Muhammadu Buhari  told governors this Thursday, March 16, 2017 that he does not need rest as he is concerned with the challenges facing Nigeria when he was advice by the state governors to take more rest.

 The president who recently returned from London after 49 days medical vacation, said he was poised to addresses all issues affecting Nigerians’

A statement by his Shehu Garba, the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, Buhari turned down the advice of the governors at a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The statement quoted Buhari as saying: “I will not rest until I address those issues that affect our people. One of these basic things is the issue of salaries.

“It is most important that workers are able to feed their families, pay rent and school fees, then other things can follow.”

 He commended the governors for not considering political affiliations in their goodwill messages and prayers for him while he was away from the country.

Many Injured In An Accident On Third Mainland Bridge (Photos)

  Many people were seriously injured on Wednesday when a commercial bus somersaulted on third mainland bridge. According to a Facebook user who shared the photos, the vehicle was on high speed and on getting to the bridge had a burst back tyre. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. Dash Store Vandalized Few Hours After Kendall Jenner Reports $200,000 Jewelry Theft

The Dash store on Melrose in L.A which is co-owned by Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian was vandalized on Thursday morning, hours after Kendall Jenner reported that someone had stolen $200k worth of jewelry from her home. Just two months after the Kardashians’ boutique was robbed, Gossip Cop confirms.

Someone defaced the front of the store with spray paint and so far, no suspect(s) has been arrested yet.

Also in January, a woman stole approximately $1,600 worth of clothes and perfume from the boutique before speeding off a silver car. The thief has yet to be caught.

Before these two incidents, last June someone attempted to set the Dash store on fire by throwing a lit object inside the boutique. When that happened, the police said the arson squad found a large “smoldering object” inside the store, which fortunately didn’t set the boutique ablaze or cause much damage.
