A Year After Attempting Suicide, Teebillz Raises Awareness For Mental Health Issues

A year after attempting suicide, Tiwa Savage's manager turned husband, Teebillz is now trying to raise awareness for mental health issues.
Few minutes ago, Teebillz shared a quote on Instagram addressing mental health, also questioning why Nigerians are afraid to discuss such issues and seek help without feeling ashamed.

"If you can seek help for malaria and fever, don't be ashamed about your psychological and emotional condition!!! Why are we so afraid to discuss mental health in our society??? #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness," Teebillz captioned his post.
A nosy fan replied Teebillz, asking him to stop being emotional, man up and go fix his relationship with his wife. Teebillz, who has reconciled with his family, clapped back.

What Trump Should Do About His Business Empire When He Gets To The White House

Barack Obama was a senator, George W. Bush was a governor, Dwight Eisenhower was a general. The typical president-elect comes to the White House knowing how to cash a government paycheck.
Then there is Donald Trump, the nation's incoming entrepreneur-in-chief. Previous presidents have been wealthy or had business experience (Harry Truman ran a men's clothing store), but it's safe to say Trump's shift directly from corner office to Oval Office is unprecedented. He is a globally active real estate and marketing mogul who doesn't plan to shut down the family business just because he's moving from New York to Washington.

That decision brings with it a worrisome question about how to manage conflicts of interest between his new and old jobs. It is in the nature of Trump's two careers that they are going to collide. He's got property interests and branding deals around the world, meaning when President Trump makes a decision or just speaks about, say, India, there could be more than foreign policy implications at stake. There is also the value of Trump Tower Mumbai.

The usual route for a high-ranking official is to sell off assets and put investments in a blind trust managed by an outsider. That offers assurances that all decisions made while in office are for everyone's good, not personal enrichment. However, presidents aren't required to do that because the office is exempt from a financial conflict-of-interest law governing other officials in the executive branch. The thinking is that being president has such wide-ranging responsibility that conflicts are difficult to avoid and to police.

For Trump, keeping official and private interests ongoing but untangled will be especially tricky, even if he never lifts a finger to actually participate in Trump Organization activities. That's because his vast empire is built in part on the value of his name, and his brand has never been stronger (OK, except among Democrats). That opens Trump to criticism of being a walking, talking conflict of interest, because he'll be the most powerful man on earth at the same time there will be Trump product for sale. Some of that product is just six blocks from the White House: the new Trump International Hotel — perfect for the diplomat who needs to book rooms and also wants an easy conversation-starter with administration officials.

Trump, not one for overthinking life's nuances, doesn't seem worried. The law's on his side, he said, and he doesn't care about the future performance of his company. His children will tend to that while he runs the nation. Legally, he told The New York Times, he could be president of the United States and president of his company, and even keep signing the checks. "But I would like to do something," he said. "I would like to try and formalize something."

We think he needs to take concrete action, law or no law. He doesn't need to sell his businesses or place his ownership stakes in a blind trust. Trump made it clear during the campaign that he'd hand over day-to-day business affairs to his children, and the voters accepted that. If the honeymoon suite at Trump's hotels sells out, or conversely can't be given away, that will be one of many oddities of the Trump era.
But Trump and his children should be careful not to use their marketing prowess to try to make any quick bucks from the presidency. That would be unseemly, which is what the family learned after an overeager employee publicized the $10,800 Ivanka Trump bracelet she wore during the "60 Minutes" interview.

More broadly, before taking office Trump needs to disengage entirely from business activities and set in place ethical protocols to prevent conflicts of interest or even appearances of conflict. That should include naming one or several White House officials to keep close tabs on activity to protect the presidency and the public from unexpected trouble. Some quick extra advice: Whatever the White House and State Department did to build a firewall between the Clinton Foundation and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's work wasn't enough. Eager foreign donors to the foundation thought they were owed access to the Obama administration.

If Trump doesn't separate himself from his and his family's business interests, how long before he's seen as taking action as president because it was good for Trump and not America? Those kinds of allegations would harm the presidency. Ultimately they would tarnish the rules of fairness everyone must respect.

MMM Nigeria Participants To Recieve Payment In Bitcoin

MMM participants to receive payment in Bitcoin
Bitcoin, the popular cryptocurrency is to be introduced by MMM Nigeria as part of its mode of payment when it re-opens next week.
The Ponzi-scheme promoters last week issued instructions to its participants whose accounts were frozen, to perform “Promo Tasks: A New Tool for MMM Community Development, The Sun reported.

In the MMM message, subscribers were told to perform tasks, both online and offline, to promote the scheme and drive “traffic and participation” by the time the restriction on the account is lifted.
“Being an MMM member implies not only opportunities, but also a responsibility for the state and development of the MMM Community”, the message said.

Prior to the freeze of MMM, participants were allowed to provide help in bitcoin, but they were paid back in naira.

According to The SUN, MMM new plan allows participants to receive payment in bitcoin, and watch their monies grow in bitcoin.
In a statement to participants, MMM said “due to the recent sharp price fluctuations of Bitcoin, MAVRO-BTC is being introduced in the system.

“So far, we have only had Mavro-Naira in the system. Even though you provided help via Bitcoin, your Bitcoins, anyway, were recalculated into the Naira at the exchange rate at the moment of providing help, and you were credited with Mavro-Naira in your PO.
“It was the naira amount that grew. In other words, you received 30 percent a month specifically in naira (not in Bitcoins, although you originally provided help using Bitcoins).
“Now, you have a chance to have 30 percent growth of the Bitcoin amount, not the naira amount. So, acquire MAVRO-BTC which will be credited in your PO and will grow at a 30 percent monthly growth rate.
“In a month not only 30 percent will be added to your initial amount, but, it can increase itself due to Bitcoin price growth.

“And, what if Bitcoin price is going to fall? In case Bitcoin price might go down, you will be able to return to naira at any time — instantly convert your MAVRO-BTC into Mavro-Naira (and vice versa, if Bitcoin price might increase again).
“This option is available in PO. You can convert both confirmed and unconfirmed Mavro.
“We hope that with implementing MAVRO-BTC, your participation in MMM will become more comfortable!”

IPOB Alleges Plots Of British Government To Poison Nnamdi Kanu In Kuje Prison

Following the dust raised by the documentary on the killing of Biafra agitators has alleged that there were plots to poison its detained leader, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in detention in Kuje Prison since October 2015, accused of treasonable felony.
The group, however, said that the Nigerian and British governments were incapable of stopping the restoration of the nation of Biafra and 2017 is the year that kick-starts the restoration process.

In a statement signed by the spokespersons of IPOB, Dr. Clifford Iroanya and Mr. Emma Nmezu, the group alleged that the British Government was working in tandem with the leadership of the country to stealthily administer a non-traceable poison on its leader, Kanu.

The statement read in part: “Our intelligence gathering team revealed that one of the reasons for embarking on this heinous crime by both the British Government and the serial killer in the country is to stop the avalanche of leaked videos and some classified information which incontrovertibly placed Britain as an accessory to genocide on Biafrans.

“Another reason is to ensure that Nnamdi Kanu is dead before Mr. Donald J. Trump takes over as the 45th President of the USA. We have also confirmed that should the plan to poison Nnamdi Kanu fail, a phantom road accident will be arranged for the vehicle conveying Nnamdi Kanu to court on any of the court days beginning from Tuesday, 10th of January 2017.

“What bothers us in IPOB is the fact that Biafrans are Christians and a sizeable proportion of whom are of the Anglican denomination including the parents of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, which was where they baptised and christened him “Kenneth or Kenny” for short.
“Why would Britain, a supposedly Christian country and a proclaimed member of the body of Christ, be supporting people of Islamic faith such as Buhari to kill Biafrans and enthrone servitude in Biafraland?

“From where is this British Government’s hatred on fellow Christians of Biafran descent coming? Perhaps, the British Government must tell the world what we, Biafrans, did to them that makes them hate us so much

“Why would the British Government want Nnamdi Kanu dead in spite of the fact that he is a British citizen? Or is it in line with the British Government’s standard practice of hating every African freedom fighter? Recall that both Margaret Thatcher and David Cameron called Nelson Mandela a terrorist and demanded he should be hanged,” they stated. IPOB cautioned the British Government to retrace its steps and terminate the alleged plans to kill Kanu, stressing that the British government would be held responsible for the deaths of Kanu and other Biafra agitators held in custody across the country.

Operation In The White House Can't Be Managed Like A Family Business - Obama Advices Trump

US President, Barack Obama, said in an interview broadcast Sunday that he has tried to impress upon president-elect, Donald Trump, that running the White House is different from any other job.
The main thing he has tried to convey is that there is a difference between governing and campaigning, Obama said in the interview with ABC News.

Obama said: “What he has to appreciate is as soon as you walk into this office after you’ve been sworn in; you’re now in charge of the largest organisation on Earth.”
He said he has told Trump the operation can’t be managed like a family business and he will have to have a strong team around him.

He said: “You have to have respect for institutions and the process to make good decisions because you are inherently reliant on other folks.”
The interview comes as Obama prepares for a farewell address scheduled to take place Tuesday evening and as he prepares to leave office on January 20, the same day Trump will be inaugurated.
Obama added that he has also talked to Trump about having confidence in US intelligence agencies and knowing that “there are going to be times where the only way you can make a good decision is if you have confidence that the process is working”.
Top US intelligence officials on Friday briefed Trump about their investigation into Russian cyber activities during the presidential election.

They concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin “ordered” a campaign to influence the election to undermine faith in the democratic process and to hurt Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s reaction was to vow to pursue good relations with Russia, saying on Saturday on Twitter that having a good relationship with Russia “is a good thing, not a bad thing”.
He also issued a statement saying he had “tremendous respect” for the work of the intelligence agencies, contradicting earlier messages that were critical of
intelligence assessments on weapons of mass destruction prior to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, which proved to be false.

Trump’s spokeswoman, Kellyanne Conway, defended hiss reaction and statement, noting that he highlights that China and other countries also have mounted cyber-attacks against the US government and US businesses.

Conway said the Democratic National Committee left itself vulnerable to the hack prior to the election and said the material revealed made no difference because the majority of U.S. voters already had an unfavourable opinion of Clinton before it came out.
Conway said: “All of this amounts to a very simple fact, the alleged aspirations to interfere with our democracy failed.”

In the interview with ABC, Obama also said he had given Trump advice about using Twitter.
He said from the day Trump becomes president “there are world capitals and financial markets and people all around the world who take really seriously what he says”.

My Wife Actually Toasted Me When My First Wife Left Me And Went Abroad - Actor Yemi Sholade

There is no gainsaying the fact that actor, Yemi Solade, has a beautiful wife. His better half used to be an actress known as Hannah Marsh, and a lot has been written about their union.

However, many do not know how the affair actually kick started, but the actor revealed that much recently on a television show. When asked to recount how he met his wife, he said:
My wife actually toasted me. I had previously been married, but my first wife left me and went abroad. I met my current wife on the set of Wale Adenuga’s Super Story. God indeed has a sense of humour because I met two half-castes that year, Lilian Bach and Hannah Marsh. Lilian played my wife, while Hannah acted as my secretary in that particular production.

I liked Hannah, but I initially did not want to get involved with half-caste ladies because I felt they are expensive to maintain, and only rich men can handle them. However, we met again and unknown to me, she had also been eyeing me, so she asked me to bring my phone, and she dialed her number on it. We all know the rest of the story, and now, we have two kids between us. I feel it was God that wrote our script, and I am pleased with it.”
Solade, who is of the opinion that stars are not appreciated in Nigeria, further said, “I like to hide my face because popular people are not appreciated in this country, unlike overseas. In some other countries, when stars are going out, they are usually accompanied by hefty bodyguards, but it’s not like that here. As a matter of fact, I do not believe we have celebrities here in Nigeria, we only have popular people. Stars are not supposed to buy second-hand cars like we do here..."

- Recession is affecting stars too in Nigeria, so you have to manage second hand car...lolz.
