 Star Boy Wizkid’ (Ayo Balogun), is rewarding his fans by engaging in a rare philanthropic gesture, by giving out airtime, amounting to a N100, 000, for his fans on Twitter.
The MTN ambassador decided to reward his loyal fans with the airtime as a show of appreciation for their support and standing by him.
Some fans got as much as N23, 000 airtime and have been full of gratitude.

Editorial Note: Being the editor of a fashion magazine is a dream job. It’s also one of the most difficult jobs in the world because you rarely get hours off to relax or even let loose a bit. You are either on the phone talking with designers, scheduling interviews, making plans with photographers, the team, the amazing models or sometimes you may just find yourself on the plane travelling to another country to attend a fashion show. It’s a blessing though. One question I get asked a lot is “How do we plan our covers?” and the honest truth is sometimes even I don’t know how we do it. All I know is when you are blessed with a great team who believe in your vision, anything and everything in life is possible. On our November cover is a gorgeous African singer who is completely dedicated to her craft. She is a terrific vocalist, a mother to an adorable girl and is a Globacom Ambassador. WAJE brings the spark to our cover this month and each time I think about WAJE, she reminds me so much of Tina Turner on stage. Her live performances always leave me speechless and each single she has ever performed has always had so much energy in it. She loves to laugh, she loves life and she loves to sing. This month, WAJE shares everything with Zen; from her new singles to her plans for a new album. We also get to know more about her musical career, and what she feels about African fashion.
Our fashion team have rounded up the best new trends in the fashion section, while our team features have got exclusive interviews with plus size model Philomena Kwao, Pop singer Dencia and Afro Solidstar.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY MAVIN RECORDS ON WANDE COAL'S DEPARTURE FROM THE LABEL

An official statement from Mavin Records regarding Wande Coal's exit from the label...

It is with deep regret that we officially announce the departure of recording artist Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, from Mavin Records due to irreconcilable differences.

Over the past few months, Mavin Records has made a concerted move to consolidate its position in the Nigerian music industry. Mavin has pursued a renewed ethos to raise its standards of quality and professionalism to a world-class level. Wande’s vision has not aligned with ours and a few months ago all parties mutually agreed that a separation would be the best course of action.

Legal parties on both sides have spent the past six months trying to reach an amicable solution in terms of musical property rights. However the decision by Wande Coal to release ‘Baby Face’ purportedly as his own material is a direct breach of intellectual property law and compelled an immediate clarification on our part.

Both Mavin Records and Wande Coal have enjoyed a remarkable run in the course of their working relationship. It is unfortunate that conflicting priorities contributed to the premature curtailment of a hitherto fruitful accord.

Mavin Records reaffirms its goal to constantly provide high quality music to our fans and introduce new and exciting talent into the industry.

We wish Wande Coal the best of luck in all his future endeavours.

REVEALED: HOW TIWA SAVAGE CAUSES THE FIGHT BETWEEN WANDE COAL AND DON JAZZY

There is a new twist to the Don Jazzy versus Wande Coal saga as new reports allege that Tiwa Savage, the first lady of Mavin records is the source of the whole trouble.
Some hours ago, Don Jazzy accused former label mate Wande Coal for allegedly stealing one of his songs titled ‘Baby face’.
According to report, Tiwa and Don Jazzy were rejoicing over the positive responses from fans over the success of their recently released ‘Eminado’ video when she brought his attention to the released ‘Baby Face’ track.
A reliable source said, “Tiwa and Wande Coal haven’t always been friends, and she was the one that brought Don Jazzy’s attention to the baby face song. When Don Jazzy saw and heard the song, he was angry and had resolved to giving Wande Coal a call but Tiwa insisted that he should make it public.”

Tiwa allegedly said, “He can not continue to steal from you, he should at least be respectful enough to credit you, if you don’t do this, he will continue to steal your works, if you put it out on twitter, he’ll know you are serious. It’s wrong to always take people for granted.”
Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage is known for always attacking anyone who offends on twitter.
She recently attacked editors of TW on twitter for a publication rather than calling them privately to settle whatever misunderstanding they had.
