Comedian Seyi Law Narrates How He Lost N44Million In Two Years

 

Comedian Seyi Law narrates his ugly past for those who have ears to listen.

For Seyi, life has not been a bed of roses at all for he has lost lots of millions that would have taken him to another level in his life.

Although these hard moments come  and go but there were also times he appreciated God for his favor upon his life.

The comedian took to his IG page to share his ordeals and how he had lost N44million in two years, N30million on wrong business and N14million to his show.

“The last three (3) years have been my toughest years since I started comedy. The social media revival by @nathanielblow has brought me some relief and opened my eyes to great understanding. It is no lies that people receive favour in our industries and somehow, I seem to be the only one who doesn’t. I have sown seeds over hardwork, loyalty and kindness in several places, but they seem to yield no fruits.
“In 2014, I lost over 30million Naira to a wrong business, 2015 was another year of lost with almost 14 million lost to the show; Fast and Funny and an 8 months old pregnancy evacuation. I don’t even want to mention 2016 going into 2017, but yesterday God showed me Prov 31: 30a: FAVOUR is DECEITFUL saying to me If I had received favours to get to where I am I probably would have forgotten too quickly where I was coming from.
“I want you to know that to be favoured is a good thing, but to live your hoping on the luck of favour is stupidity. Let favour meet the works of your hands. People have promised me, failed and helped people I introduced to them. It only means they are not my channels of blessings. What has been your points in life? What has been giving tormenting you? Please let go and let God have his way. God can bless the works of your hands without favours from men and you will be celebrated.”

‘Nigeria Is On A Ticking Time Bomb’- Saraki Laments

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has lamented that no fewer than 10.5 million Nigeria children are out of school.
He described the situation as “alarming and a ticking time bomb” in his reaction to the statistics on out-of-school children released by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Saraki spoke on Sunday when he received a UNICEF delegation, led by its Country Representative, Mohammed Fall.

He lamented that Nigeria had the highest number of out-of-school children in the world, adding that the statistics represented approximately 20 per cent of the world’s population of such children.
Saraki warned that “an uneducated population will be locked in a cycle of poverty for their entire lives.

“Additionally, these children could constitute the next generation of suicide bombers and militants. In this regard, education is a national security priority.’’
He expressed National Assembly’s commitment to partnering stakeholders like UNICEF, to drastically reduce the number.

“The legislature is committed to doing all it can to address the issue of out-of-
school children through funding and material resources.
“We are determined to also improve on this and to work together to see how best to reduce drastically the level of illiteracy among our people, especially from the preliminary stage.
“The quality of our education must be in line with global best practices. We will continue to work closely with you to support your programmes.

“We plan to have an inclusive roundtable where the impediments in our education system will be identified and a plan of action designed to eliminate them”.
Earlier, Fall who urged Saraki to endorse Nigeria’s 2017 school enrolment programme by UNICEF, hailed his partnership with the body over the years in the areas of child health and education.
Fall, however, decried the statistics of 10.5 million children out-of-school in Nigeria.
“Such number poses a lot of danger to the growth and development of the country’’.

Bishop Mike Okonkwo Of TREM Celebrates Wife's 65th Birthday, Propose To Her All Over Again (Photos)

President of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Bishop Mike Okonkwo surprised his wife of 37 years, Peace Okonkwo on Sunday by asking her hand in marriage all over againin the presence of his congregation.
This happened right after they had a thanksgiving session during the service to mark her 65th birthday.
It has always being on record that Mike Okonwkwo as a young man was so shy that he had to ask his elder sister to speak to Peace on his behalf.

"Bishop is a very shy person and he could not talk to me. After the Civil War, everybody started to go to church because there was nothing to look forward to; he could not propose to me. It was his elder sister that walked up to me on his behalf. The lady just liked me, she is a pastor now. He told his sister that he liked me and she promised to talk to me on his behalf. The first time she spoke to me on his behalf, I shrugged it off and told her that we fought every day in church because I felt that he was arrogant. He drove his father’s car while we always trekked and whenever he got to church, he always wanted his voice to be heard but that was his nature. When you look at him at first glance, you would think he is a proud person but on the contrary, he is very down to earth and simple.

When his sister insisted, I told her that I would think about it but I had to go to school first because my aunty was planning for me to join her abroad. I knew his parents and all his family members so that made things easy; here we are today." Peace disclosed in an Interview.

Interestingly however, Bishop Mike decided to propose all over again on Sunday and of course she said yesssssss!!!!

AY Comedian's Wife Mabel Calls Out Freda Francis, Warns Her To Stay Away From Her Family

Mabel, interior designer/wife of comedian Ayo 'AY' Makun, called out heavily pregnant socialite Freda Francis on instagram very early this morning.

Freda had her Push Party (baby shower) in Ikoyi, Lagos on Sunday evening and AY was one of the guests present there. After a photo he took with Freda and a friend surfaced online, Mabel who appeared to have saved some screenshots of an incriminating chat between her husband and Freda in the past, called Freda out and warned her to stay way from her family. Dbanj Shows Off Wife, Didi Kilgrow For The First Time On Social Media

This is the first time Kokomaster Dipo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj would be posting anything on his wife and mother of his baby, Daniel, which he posted on his IG page. He married the beautiful lady in June of 2016.
  Didi Kilgrow, who is now Mrs. Oyebanjo is said to grow up in Jos and schooled at the University of Abuja. She is the younger step-sister of Samantha Walsh who is currently hosting the big Friday show with Falz on MTV base.
Didi was said to have previously dated Aaron of Addiction before meeting Dbanj whom she started dating early 2015.
The wedding took place at the family home of D’banj in Maryland on Saturday, June 2. The wedding (registry and traditional) was so private that only nuclear family members of both D’banj and Didi were in attendance.
The couple welcomed a baby boy less than four weeks ago.
