Police Arrest Human Pepper Soup Dealer In Rivers State

This Suspected kidnapper was said to be among the kidnappers that abducted, killed and beheaded one Pastor Samuel Okpara from Edoha in the Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state on August 15, 2017.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zaki Ahmed, who paraded Peter and 22 other suspects at the state police command headquarters in Port Harcourt on Monday, explained that guns used by the gang were also in the suspect’s possession.

He stated that the kidnap gang, including its leader, identified simply as Justus aka High Tension, had been terrorising some parts of the Ahoada East LGA.
“The command, in continuation of its onslaught against kidnapping, arrested one Roland Peter, a member of a notorious gang that kidnapped Pastor Samuel Okpara from the Edoha Ahoada East LGA in Rivers State,” Ahmed told Punchng.com.
“Pastor Okpara was kidnapped, killed and beheaded. His liver and intestines were used to prepare pepper soup and plantain pottage. The suspect was arrested while preparing the meal for his gang. He is helping the police in their investigation.”

Ten-Year-Old Boy Reportedly Killed During The Demolition Of Eke Ukwu Market, Imo Police Investigate Cause Of Death

The Imo state police command has revealed that there is an ongoing investigation to reveal the circumstances that led to the death of the 10-year-old boy, Somto Ibeanusi, who was reportedly killed by a stray bullet during the faceoff between angry traders and police officers during the demolition of Eke Ukwu market in Imo state last Saturday. Photo of Somto's mum weeping above. A stray bullet fired by one of the officers to disperse angry traders who were reportedly attacking them during the demolition, hit the boy who died instantly. The state police command in a statement released yesterday, say they are investigating the matter and also warned residents of the state to desist from making misguided comments about the incident online. The attention of the Imo State Police Command has been drawn to the unwholesome circulation of deliberate falsehood and hate speeches on the social media by some misguided individuals on the event of the relocation of Eke Ukwu Owerri Market and the cleanup of Douglas road, Owerri by the State Government.
The misleading reports especially in the social media have been engineering hate amongst ethnic groups, associations and people of diverse interests. This can only be ascribed to the handiwork of mischief makers and alarmists whose trade is to divide, cause panic and fear amongst law abiding citizens.
Parents/guardians are advised to caution their children and wards to desist from circulating misleading information and hate speeches in the social media especially now that government is taking issues of hate very seriously.
Relatedly, the Police Command has begun full scale investigation into the alleged death of one Somtochukwu Ibeanusi, reported to the Police on 27th August, 2017 by 1630 hours. Investigators have interviewed the parents and will stop at nothing in ensuring that the circumstances and ramifications of the matter is unravelled.
The State Police Command wishes to avail this opportunity to re-assure all Imolites and the general public that security agencies in the State are working together to ensure the safety and security of life and property, please.

Niger State Police Command issued Statement on Monday 26/08/2017 at about 2100hrs, following a sustained monitoring by IGP Special Tactical Squad attached to Niger State Police Command two notorious ritualists were arrested in possession of human head of one Hassan Abubakar "m" of Bakajeba Paiko L.G.A .

The suspects Abdulrasheed Aminu "m" 22yrs old of Lupa and Ismaila Mohammed "m" 27 old of makera all confessed that they cut off the head with use two sharped knife and one of the suspect Ibrahim surname yet unknown of Paiko L.G.A still at large.

The father of the victim one Abubakar Shuaib said that his son was last seen on Saturday 26/08/2017 taking a kettle of water from the house to give an unknown person waiting outside and since then he was nowhere to be found, until he heard that Police arrested suspects with human head and he identified the victim as his son. Case under investigation.
