One woman was killed yesterday when she was pushed by 30 year old Melanie Liverpool onto the subway tracks in Times Square, according to police.
.
It happened at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue around 1:20 p.m., as a southbound No. 1 train was coming into the station.
The 49-year-old female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman suspected of doing the pushing was taken into custody after several people who witnessed the incident flagged down officers.
Police arrested 30-year-old Melanie who now faces a charge of second degree murder.
In a strange twist, Melanie confessed to pushing someone into the subway tracks LAST MONTH – after another woman died from being hit by a train in NYC.
Melanie went to police and claimed she had pushed the woman from the platform and killed her, but police later discovered that person had actually jumped in front of the train, purposely committing suicide. So they released the psychotic Melanie from custody. BUT then she goes and REALLY COMMITS THE CRIME
