The body of late Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki on arrival at Sultan Muhammad Bello Mosque ahead of the Islamic funeral rites in Sokoto

The burial of a former Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki held in Sokoto on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic rites.

The funeral which held at Sultan Muhammad Bello mosque witnessed a large turn out of people.
Top government officials at the funeral include Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Minister for Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazau, among others. Also in attendance was the current Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar. See more pics below:
