64-year-old woman gave birth to a baby boy, her second child after she lost her only child years back.
The woman had a Cesarean-section mostly because of her age On Wednesday, December 28.
The operation went smoothly. Although the woman was completely
exhausted after delivery but the doctor in charge, Teng Hong said the
woman was the oldest she had accepted as a patient and may be the oldest
across the country so far.
The doctor said: “I was really moved at
the moment, and my nerves, which were tense for months, were eventually
stretched. The mother and baby are both healthy, and the woman can
leave hospital in a few days.”
